I think Wayne is a vampire - he hasn't changed a bit since 1988. But there's only one way to tell for sure, I must check out his licks and see if they've changed. If not we have PROOF that the man is not of this Earth! I will purchase said CD's and study up, then attempt to MEET the elusive Goins musically in his Apple-infested lair...see you soon, Dr. Jazz!
Your friend,
John

Hey Wayne,
I'm becoming a big fan of Jazz partly due to your old student, Jeff Holt. He told me to stop by here and say hello. Take Care

Hey Wayne,
not sure if you remember the little Korean girl at Encore Coda (was there 87-92) but I remember that you were one of the coolest cats ever. Still remember you wailin' on the Fender and learning the history of rock & roll from you. thanks! Liz

..by the way, do you still have that really cool vintage white / cream colored Fender Strat you had back in the Kennesaw University days?? I loved that guitar. I loved it so much in fact, that, when i had enough money i bought me 2 of them!! ...a '71 and an '88. Still have them.

Hello Mr. Goins!!!
I really don't know if you'll remember me, but i was a student of yours at Kennesaw State University. I took jazz guitar lessons from you (1990? - 1991?). I just wanted to drop by and thank you for your lessons and your wisdom. You were the best electric guitar teacher i ever had. By the way, i still have the bass your friend LeBron Scott autographed for me one saturday i was hanging out at your apartment. It is great to see that you are doing so well. Congratulations!!! If you have time, come by my website and check out what i have been up to musically. Right now i am living in Germany writing, recording, and performing for different artists. You can check out www.myspace.com/deerosario

What's up, Doc? Former student from Kennesaw State. I was surfing on Napster, when on a whim, I entered your name to see what might come up. Made it here to your site. My sincerest congrats on your success. Do you offer transciptions of your live stuff in tab? (That might spark your memory, ha ha.) Cheers!

Hello Dr. Wayne Goins,
I have been writting music for 23 years. I am not a great guitar player, but I have some music that I would like to record. I am 39 years old I know first hand how the recording scene, and the music scene goes. So when I read in the basement of McCain that you have a real recording studio I thought I should contact you to see if I can afford the studio time.

Hey Wayne.. Deborah.. and the gang...
Great new site! Congrats on the label, I have no doubt that it will be a great success! This label has something extra special, ... it has the Wayne Goins touch.. You go man!!
Debra and I are doing great up here in SD. I start repair school in August and have been in the woodshed for the last couple of months. Debra has fit right in as a staf pharmacist for Wal-Mart and is enjoying life! Hunter the dog is doing great and has adjusted to his new surroundings. That's about it here on the home front. Hope things are going well with the family, tell them all hello.
Take care,
